Fees

My tutoring fee is $40 per hour.  Tutoring will need to take place in my home (Hilliard, Ohio area) OR I can tutor you online.

You can pay by cash, check, Chase QuickPay (free to setup and use regardless of who you bank with), PayPal, or credit card.  If you choose to use PayPal or credit card to make a payment, then there is an additional flat fee of $5. For online tutoring, the payment must be received into my account prior to the session.  For in person tutoring, cash or check must be presented at the time of the tutoring.

Online Tutoring

Online tutoring is a great and very convenient option for many.  Online tutoring requires a computer / laptop with high-speed internet connection and a Google+ account (free).  The computer must have a built-in microphone or you will need a computer headset with a microphone.  If you have an external webcam with a built-in microphone that would work, too.  Your local Wal-Mart or Radio Shack usually stocks a fairly inexpensive computer headset that would work fine.  It's the same sort of headset you would use making Skype calls.

 

I use Google Hangouts as a means to speak with you AND so you can see what I'm writing on my computer screen.  Once you have setup a Google+ account, you can use Google Hangouts.  All this is fairly simple to setup and I can talk you through it pretty easily. Basically, I write on my computer screen and you can see it on your computer screen.  The internet connection also allows us to speak with each other.  Google Hangouts makes all this possible.
